Product Description

The Dayliff SUNFLO‑B 500C Solar Pumping System is a rugged and energy‑efficient solar‑powered water supply solution designed for off‑grid pumping from wells and boreholes. Ideal for livestock watering, irrigation, household water supply, and remote water applications, this system uses clean solar energy to deliver dependable water flow without grid electricity or fuel‑powered generators.

At its core is the SUNFLO‑B 500C submersible pump, a centrifugal‑type unit built with stainless steel chambers and durable noryl impellers for reliable performance and long service life. The pump is driven by a high‑efficiency, permanent‑magnet brushless DC motor that’s engineered specifically for solar power operation, ensuring good performance from photovoltaic (PV) input.

A key strength of this system is the integrated MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracking) controller. This smart controller constantly tracks the solar array’s optimum power point to extract the most current from the panels as sunlight and temperature conditions change, typically increasing output by around 25 % compared to conventional controllers. It also protects the system against over‑ and under‑voltage, overcurrent, and includes low‑water‑level protection if sensors are fitted.

Under standard test conditions (1000 W/m² solar irradiance and 25 °C), the SUNFLO‑B 500C model is capable of pumping around 6 m³ of water per day at a 40 m head using a solar array sized at approximately 4 × 200 W PV modules (configured as 2 series × 2 parallel) — actual output varies with site conditions, solar exposure, installation orientation, and seasonal changes.

Each system is supplied as a complete ready‑to‑install package, including:

  • Appropriate Grade‑1 PV solar modules with connectors,

  • Submersible drop cable and joint,

  • DC solar isolator with MCB for safe solar array isolation,

  • Safety rope and HDPE pipe connectors — module supports and delivery piping are not included and must be provided separately.

The SUNFLO‑B 500C operates reliably in a wide range of environments, with ambient operating temperatures from –20 °C to +50 °C, a maximum liquid temperature of +40 °C, and a maximum recommended immersion depth of 40 m. It is designed for use with clean, thin, and chemically non‑aggressive water containing less than 0.1 % sand content to ensure long pump life and optimal performance.

Overall, the Dayliff SUNFLO‑B 500C Solar Pumping System delivers an efficient, low‑maintenance, and environmentally friendly solution for water pumping in remote and off‑grid settings, maximizing solar energy capture while providing steady water delivery for everyday needs.
